Community engagements:

The Department through chemical society funds provides financial assistance to needy students belonging to under privileged & weaker sections of the society, besides student awareness programmes on career counselling, health & moral education are also being conducted by debit to chemical society and internal quality assurance funds. Moreover Department coordinates competitive exams like level conferences for students/teachers of UG/PG chemistry to facilitate hands-on experience of workinAustralian Chemistry Quiz and National Olympiad tests for the school students. Department also has been arranging special training workshops, short term courses, regional g with bench level scientific instruments, to keep the teachers updated with the recent developments in the area of chemical research, to enhance their teaching skills and to train them as to how and why they should inspire their students to enjoy the learning/research activities in science that can motivate them to chose research as a career and a means to address the burning issues of their society.
